The Strandlopers mural is reference ancient fish traps and importance of fishing to the community. Hosted on the home of Miena and family, the mural was painted in 2016. The nearby fish traps are declared a national heritage site by The South African Heritage Resources Agency and community members regularly work to preserve them.
