Our Homestay and CookUp Kamammas together with informed registered local guides, continue to warmly welcome visitors from the Netherlands, Belgium, the United States and South Africa.
Experiences include:
- Community homestays
- Traditional meals
- Visits to Stilbaai
- Ancient fish traps
- Shell middens
- Guided dune walks
- Cultural exchange experiences
This helps spread economic benefit across communities and surrounding towns including Melkhoutfontein, Stilbaai, Mossel Bay, Knysna and Darling.
A recent highlight was welcoming the Lynn family from Charlotte, North Carolina. During their visit, they spent time playing with Dreamcatcher children and later explored the ancient fish traps.
Inspired by the deep heritage of the region, the family also helped bring to life artwork based on cultural learning projects by Dreamcatcher children, reflecting messages, symbols and ancestral communication from Khoekhoe and San heritage. These installations now feature in our training and skills transfer room for future guests to enjoy.
We are excited to soon host four groups from Belgium and Netherlands plus full independent travelers (FIT), while also engaging with several other international groups seeking to develop or enrich their South African itineraries through meaningful local experiences.
